Twit Faxo: Twitter Search Tool For Bulk Follow/Unfollow

TwitFaxo a Twitter Search Tool to Bulk Follow/Unfollow

Use TwitFaxo to Follow/Unfollow

Faxo.com’s Twit Faxo is a powerful Twitter search tool that can be used for targeting followers as part of an effective online marketing campaign.

Multiple Operators
Twit Faxo offers targeted results by providing all, and, any and exact wording operators. Further filtering is done by choosing what profile part you want to search. There is also a feature that lets you search for users who follow or are followed by a specific account. There are a number of parameters you can set to limit results such as the number of followers/following the account, number of tweets range, and date of last tweet. One of the most useful features is the ability to eliminate users you have recently unfollowed.

Bulk follow, follow/unfollow
Follows and unfollows are automatically accepted. A report of your results is produced. You choose the order you want the results to appear in. There is also a feature to set a time limit for follow backs before automatically unfollowing an account.

Automation
Twit Faxo can be configured with five automatic settings. You can set a time period to wait before unfollowing someone who has not followed you back. You can set up tracking of following and unfollowing, and you can program your account to follow those who follow you and unfollow those who unfollow you. There is also an option to add an automated welcome message.

Rankings
Twit Faxo provides rankings for the one million most popular users on Twitter, along with their number of followers. Interesting to some, I suppose, but I can’t think of a use for drilling quite that deep. Still, if you want to know who the 100 or 1,000 most popular tweeps are, this tool will display that information.

If you use bulk following/unfollowing to grow your list, Twit Faxo can be a valuable resource. Using a variety of Twitter search tools produces different results, which can be amalgamated into a powerful online marketing campaign.

Brandwatch: Twitter Tool for Social Media Monitoring

Brandwatch screen capture

Brandwatch blows businesses away with Social Media Monitoring power

When operating an Internet-based business, your reputation is everything. Nobody knows or cares if you’re a nice guy; they just know what they see on the web. It is so important to monitor and protect your brand and its stature. Brandwatch is an effective Twitter tool that analyzes data across the social media, and presents its results in highly customizable ways.

Benefits:
” Discover negative coverage in social media monitoring and offset a bad impression.
” Discover more effective ways to promote your product.
” Monitor the reputation of your competition.
” Engage in market research to better understand your customer and his needs.
” Get the results in the format that best suits your needs.

There are four stages to building an effective social media monitoring strategy: gathering, filtering, analyzing and presenting data. This is how Brandwatch handles each stage.

Gathering Data: The Brandwatch crawler operates in near-real time, gathering data in response to your search from social networks, blogs and micro-blogs, news services, video sites, forums, and more. This provides a broad data base to work from. You can set the date ranges you need.

Filtering Data: Brandwatch uses intelligent filters to clean out irrelevant and outdated posts, as well as advertising and spam. Add your own filters to further refine the process.

Analyzing Data: Brandwatch runs the remaining data through a 5 point analysis process. This includes query matching and recurring phrase identification. One of the more ingenious processes analyzes the sentiment of the post.

Presenting Data: Clients can use the online dashboard to create custom reports, known as workspaces. Choose from many components to tailor reports exactly to your preferences. In addition to workspaces, you can download reports in excel workbook or CSV format.

Where does Twitter fit it? One of the components for customizing reports is to filter results by site, in this case Twitter. This will give you a real-time snapshot of public opinion on your search subject.

In order to create an effective marketing strategy, you need to determine the public perception of your brand. If you have had bad publicity lately, you really need a way to track public opinion as you rebuild your reputation. Brandwatch is a Twitter tool that accomplishes these goals.

What tools do you use in your social media monitoring campaign? Is Brandwatch one of them? Let us know your experience, good and bad, by adding a comment.

Zemanta
Zemanta is a new platform for accelerating on-line content production for any web user. Any user-created text (a blog post, article or web page) is directly “read” by Zemanta, which recognizes all contextual content. The tool then combs the web for the most relevant images, smart links, keywords and text, instantly serving these results to the user to enrich and inform their content. Zemanta can also be deployed on all major content publishing platforms and web browsers through a simple plug-in.

Find the Stories That Interest You with ReStream.me

Restream.me front page

Restream.me recommends news that suits you

The information highway is so broad now, there is no way to keep up to the feeds you want to stay on top of.  Or is there?  What you need is a way to filter the junk from the news stories you are interested in and a way to keep the good stuff from getting buried by the never-ending stream of new content.

ReStream.me is a comprehensive Twitter application that recommends news stories, articles, and blog posts that match your interests.  There are other tools out there that will consolidate the news into one feed, but ReStream.me does more.  It provides feeds of the web pages that interest you, as well as recommending content based on the tags you choose.

When you favorite someone in ReStream.me, they are added to a Twitter list called ReStreamFavs.  You can use any of your Twitter apps to view this list.  If it finds content that matches your interests, ReStream.me will send you up to two Tweets per hour.

There is a Relevancy Score (RScore) that will tell you how relevant the content is to you. This is determined by your tags and also by who and what you’ve favorited on Twitter.  A good content match is indicated by a high RScore.  Links shared by your favorites also receive a high RScore.  You can see how many of your friends shared the link and what they said.

ReStream.me also offers three useful bookmarklets.

  1. Fav-To-Twitter lets you save any web page you are on as a Twitter favorite.
  2. Send-To-Twitter  lets you tweet any link without leaving the page you’re on.
  3. Tweet Grabber lets you easily copy and paste the html code for any tweet you want to share.

ReStream.me is currently free. In the future, there may be a small charge, but current users will be grandfathered in.  A mobile application is offered which can be used on a smart phone or as a desktop application.

You need a powerful tool to filter the river of information available down to a manageable stream.  ReStream.me is a valuable asset in the battle against drowning in a sea of knowledge.
